An Ashton Charity is selling land, making way for the South Lancs.
(3 sisters) industrial expansion.

The sale of land by the charity plays a key part in the overall scheme.

The trustees say they are acting in the interests
of the people of Ashton but they are not.
An amazing 99% of people spoken to say that
they are against the sale of the charity land.

The people of Ashton say that they would rather
keep the green space and have a less polluted
environment.

"Adding more vehicles to the Ashton roads would
be absolutely ridiculous".

The trustees told M.A.D. that they would be taken to court by the
charity commission if they did not sell the land. We asked the
Charity Commission and they told us that this is not true.
