Wigan Council have revealed details of plans for the Stubshaw Cross
and Landgate areas that will have a huge effect on the whole of the
Ashton area.
The plans contain the same expansion as 3 years ago but this time with a proposal for a new "Super School" on the fields at Stubshaw Cross along with a massive area at Bryn/Landgate to be set aside for
warehousing, industry and housing.
They say this is part of a consultation processs.
